One of a kind, improved large scale screen print.
About this piece: to create an image in screen printing, you must use a light sensitive chemical called emulsion combined with a black and transparent stencil that is your design. The black image gets "burned" into the screen creating a stencil-like opening over a mesh screen that allows for even ink distribution over fabric or paper. I have always wanted to experiment with extra large scale shapes improv printed on fabric. This piece is the first of its kind. Each color is laid down individually and then layered with other prints. I didn't know where I was going and that was the fun. I love the bold, playful, organic result and cannot wait to make more.
