Earth Cadets is hiring and it's about time! My workload is forever getting ahead of me leaving me little time to be proactive as I plan for the holidays and live a little outside of the studio. I am looking for someone who can take some of the day to day tasks off my plate and allow me to focus on moving the business forward. My studio is located in Ravenswood, Chicago in the basement of a courtyard building. Closest El stop is Montrose brown line. I'm looking for an enthusiastic studio assistant who enjoys working in a creative environment for 12-20 hours a week. Flexible hours. Some weekends.
Must be super organized, able to work independently, motivated and meticulous. A passion for pizza and Gilmore Girls a plus, but certainly not required.
The bulk of the tasks I need assistance with are administrative, concentrating in packing orders, tagging, printing + sewing prep, assistance with show preparation, in person show assistance, inventory management and studio organization.
Retail, screen printing, photography, website management or skilled sewing experience a total plus. Extreme interest in these areas also a plus.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
