*** UPDATE **** It's been way too hot a muggy this summer to start classes. Having no AC combined with a ceiling leak has pushed them to November. But I can't wait to get them started.

I moved from operating Earth Cadets in the basement of my house this year to a larger studio in North Center with a couple goals in mind. A major one was to resume teaching classes. I taught screen printing and surface design over at the fantastic The Needle Shop for 3 years and I loved sharing the process from start to finish. It's thrilling to begin with an idea and end with a finished product that you can keep/sell/give and it's so special to me to share the feeling of accomplishment when someone makes a really solid print for the first time.

The studio is finally coming to a place where I am ready to share the space with others so this summer I will begin Intro to Screen Printing. This will be a 3 hour course where you learn each step of the process and towards the end print some pieces yourself! Additionally, as my studio (and process) is a combination of traditional screen printing methods combined with DIY techniques, you'll learn how you can take what your learn in my studio and apply in your home.  

I'll be reaching out soon for some guinea pigs to take a test class with me for free so I can work out all the kinks in the new space and shake the cobwebs out.
